Logo concepts for Airtime Kayaks (new from Downtime Kayaks).

Dave Savage, patisiere and wicket keeper, is a man possessed. The latest puff pastry, still cooling from the oven is a seven-foot-seven vac-bagged carbon kevlar high-performance surf kayak from designer and champion 'Yellow Boy' Nathan Eades. Dave has been making high-spec and exotic composite kayaks for many years now for the likes of P&H and Valley, recently going it alone as Downtime Kayaks (a brand formerly run by Jason Buxton of Valley renown). His involvement in the squirt boating renaissance has gone beyond making squirt boats for the world championship British team, to nurturing and supporting the sport that he loves. If you need that extra edge to go deeper, get higher or charge faster, Dave is the artisan who can make that happen. To this end, Downtime Kayaks is proud to present a new line in aerial assault craft, Airtime Kayaks – starting with Nathans 7seven Alushe kayak, to be followed soon by a five7 foam-core freestyle kayak.

The Fraktur style (second) logo was chosen by Dave, but the other ones will of course be available on request for custom graphics on your surf boat from Airtime.
